To launch the Ausify platform we turned our attention to algorithms and the big data that puts Aussie artists at a disadvantage when it comes to discovery.

The fact that less than ten percent of music played or served to Australian is by local acts is a statistic that doesn’t lie. As Ben Lee puts it in our Algorithmia film “..this machine is obviously rigged.” So we created a campaign to appeal to the anti-establishment nature of Aussies to get them to Search, Listen & Defy the average.
Because the more people seek out local artists the more they can change the shape of their algorithms to favour the Aussie music scene.
